Consider the following in choosing a website domain name:

  1. Is the name easy to remember
  2. Is the name memorable (like point 1 but catchy)
  3. Can you get both the .com and the .ca of that name

  5. Can you trademark it? Is it already trademarked?

If you can't ensure at least three of the five points then consider a different name. Avoid names that are already trademarked.
